Tor des Géants 2015: Patrick Bohard and Sonia Locatelli take lead after yesterday's start

On Sunday 13 September 760 runners set off from Courmayeur for the 6th Tor des Geants, considered the most difficult mountain race in the world. The athletes have until Saturday 19 September to complete the 330km, 24.000 meter elevation gain course across Valle d’Aosta, but the first runners are expected to cross the finishing line some time on Wednesday 16 September. Yesterday France’s Patrick Bohard and Italy’s Sonia Locatelli were the first to reach the checkpoint at Valgrisenche.
